Tyrone House is one of our city centre apartment blocks. Recent upgrades and works have been carried out onsite and it was agreed one of the residents would commission an art piece for the communal hallway.
The work was carried out with the inspiration of the “Linen Quarter”, an area of Belfast city center. The name is derived from the great many linen manufacturers that made their homes in the area and which were so influential in the development of Belfast, a city once referred to as the “Linenopolis”
The commission is a fantastic addition to the communal foyer and is the first thing that people see upon entering the building.
