Whizzkids Multimedia Learning Centre

Whizzkidz Multimedia Centre offers children age 5 and up the opportunity to learn all about computer packages by attending a multimedia class for an hour a week.
at Whizzkidz the children are introduced to touch typing and various computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, multimedia presentations and art packages. Materials used to teach these applications support the National Curriculum 5-14 are are taught at a relevant level for each child. Software aimed at reinforcing their learning of the school curriculum subjects is also used where requested.
Classes run during term time from Monday to Saturday and are charged at £12.50 for one hour in a group of four children(maximum) and are taught by Gillian Brodie, a qualified primary school teacher.
Pre-school classes are also available for children age 3-4 years and are attended for half an hour on a weekly basis.Here children are intorduced to shape, colour, numbers and letters through the use of various fun and stimulating computer programmes. Classes cost £5 per half hour and are taught on a one to one or small group basis.These run during school term time from Monday to Friday.
And for the Summer Holidays Whizzkidz are offering weekly summer course throughout July from Monday 4th July consecutively until Friday 5th August for one hour a day per week. These include a touch typing course, educational games course, powerpoint course, general computer course and computer art course at £50 per week approx.
